It’s been sometime
since I have actively updated this website, indeed three years
have past since the tragic events of September 11th; but for
many, myself included, it feels like yesterday.
Lives change; time
moves forward, memories can never be erased. On September 11th
this year I decided to go to Europe on vacation with my family;
a great support throughout the passing time. However, I could
not board a plane before I went downtown and listened to all the
names that were read out. In a way I feel a sense of ‘duty’; to
honor all those that are not here today.
Daily we lose more
and more brave people in the war overseas, they are there
fighting against terror. No matter what your beliefs are in our
current political agenda it seems to me that too many mistakes
were made causing too many deaths. This website has never taken
a strong political side and I try my best not to let this happen
in my management of it, but trying to portray each and every
angle.
We have in excess of
over one million people view this website since it’s launch on
April 1st 2002. I could not have ever thought that we would have
hits from every corner of the globe. I thank each and every
person that took the time to look at what this website stands
for and the information I’ve tried to convey.
It is my hope that
to all the injured victims that have come across 911injured.org
that in some way the information held here has been of some
help. But more so to the many people that have taken the time to
contact me for help; I thank you. By talking to you and
developing new friendships I have been able to understand what
an injured victim really is, the hurdles that they have faced
and how they have coped. Each and everyone has helped me. Each
and everyone of you are heroes.
www.911injured.org
will never be closed down, but as my new life starts in Texas I
want to focus more on putting the pieces that were shattered
three years ago back in place. From time to time I will make
some update, but now my concentration and focus in life is set
on reaching new goals.
